Police appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist dies in Redbridge collision

etectives are interesting for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a collision in Redbridge.

The victim, 31, died in hospital after the crash on the A12 at around 2am on Thursday.

Paramedics had been scrambled to the scene close to Blake Hall Road the place they discovered the Honda rider with important injuries.

Police street traffic investigators are interesting for dashcam footage and witnesses however they don’t consider any other automobile was incolved.

A police statement said: “Police were called to the A12, directly below Blake Hall Road, shortly before 02:00hrs on Thursday, 24 November following reports that a motorcyclist had been injured.

“Officers attended with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. The 31-year-old rider of a red Honda motorcycle was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he did not survive his injuries.

“His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.”

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. At this early stage, it isn’t believed that any other automobiles had been concerned.

“Officers would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time, or who captured the collision on dash cam.”
