Over 10 communities at Pusiga in the Upper East Region are struggling to entry their district capital due to the lack of a bridge over a river.
The bridge would have served because the connection between Kultamise and Pusiga.
Speaking to Adom News, the affected communities lamented the river has precipitated them extra hurt than good.
They told reporter Halidu Dasmani that a number of folks have died in the river making an attempt to entry the district capital for social facilities corresponding to schools, health care, market and plenty of extra.
Some students and apprentices who called on the central government to pay pressing consideration to the area.
The Assembly member for the Kultamise electoral area, Bukari Jayana, said the state of affairs is worse for the farmers, particularly throughout the wet season.
In these periods, they’re said to face challenges transporting farm produce to the central market.
The solely option is their border cities in Burkina Faso and Togo which can be troublesome to entry due to immigration problems.
According to the meeting member, the development is past the capability of the Pusiga district meeting including that government should come to their support.
