Businessman, Ibrahim Mahama, has pledged to help develop the aspirations of a younger man, Solomon Atimbiri, who constructed a shifting excavator and other vans by utilizing native supplies.
Mr Atimbiri hails from the Upper East Region however currently resides in Kumasi.
Mr Mahama’s consideration was drawn to the younger inventor’s video after it went viral on social media.
“This young inventor was able to build a moving excavator and other trucks by using local materials,” he said.
Mr Mahama took curiosity and decided to mentor younger Solomon Atimbiri by providing him the wanted assist in realising his dream.
He has been connected to a crew of native and expatriate engineers.
Atimbiri will be given sensible coaching each time college is on break until he completes college.
He will be provided a chance to be a part of Mr Mahama’s company completely and will be working with a crew of professional engineers after completion of faculty.
Some of the present engineers working with Mr Mahama’s company described Atimbiri as “a raw talent that could be trained to become a professional engineer.”
“Atimbiri will be given the best support and environment to become an accomplished professional engineer and inventor,” Mr Mahama pledged.
