Man charged with cold-case murder after returning to the UK from Spain

A

man has been charged with a south London cold-case murder after touchdown in the UK from Spain.

Paul Bryan, 61, of no mounted abode will seem in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with murder and possession/management of id paperwork with intent.

The expenses relate to the deadly stabbing of Roman Szalajko at a property in Seaton Close, Kennington on February 7, 1984. Mr Szalajko was 63 years previous.

Bryan was arrested after returning to the UK on a flight from Spain on Saturday, November 19.

Mr Szalajko’s family have been knowledgeable of the arrest and cost, police said.
