Liverpool legend Graeme Souness insists Jack Grealish is a ‘good, not great’ player and outlined the reason why he thinks the Man City forward is overrated.

Grealish opened his account for the 2022/23 season with a goal within the first minute through the 3-0 victory at Wolves on Saturday.

But Souness continues to be unconvinced, as Grealish prepares to hyperlink up with the Three Lions this week forward of the World Cup in November.

The iconic midfielder argues Grealish has failed to enhance since leaving Villa Park and not simply due to his output in entrance of goal.

Souness believes Grealish takes too many touches and strikes the ball too slowly as a result of his imaginative and prescient is not but on City’s degree.

“He is a good footballer. He is not a great player,” Souness told talkSPORT.
