Emmanuel Agyemang Badu invited for CHAN draw

Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, has been named as a part of a star-studded checklist to participate in subsequent month’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) draw.

The draw is scheduled to absorb Algiers, Algeria on Saturday, October 1, 2022. The occasion will be performed live at the Opera House of Algiers at 18:00 GMT.

Ghana will return to the event subsequent year after beating Nigeria on penalties at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja last month.

Badu was a part of Ghana’s squad for the primary version of the CHAN in Côte d’Ivoire in 2009, the place Ghana completed as runners up.

The checklist embrace Mohamed Nasnoush (Libya), Aymen Mathlouthi (Tunisia) and Robert Kidiaba (DR Congo), who’re all goalkeepers.

Albelmoumene Djabou (Algeria), Hytham Mustafa and Mohamed Tahir (Sudan) and Badu are the others additionally invited for the draw.
